If its space you're looking for, the Eclipse is your ship. This luxury ship boasts itself as the most uncrowded vessel of its size in the Galápagos. The Eclipse has a capacity for 48 passengers, housed in four suites, eight staterooms, 13 doubles and two singles. All rooms are very large and have a private bathroom with hot shower and are fully air-conditioned. Dining Eclipse-style is alfresco, with the dining area located around the 20-foot (six-meter) pool. Other amenities include a library/video room, an on-board shop and an observation deck. Tours of the islands are broken down into groups of no more than 12, divided between the four naturalists on-board.
The Eclipse runs eight-day cruises, departing on Saturdays from Santa Cruz.
