Isabela II

Cruise

V!VA User‘s Description

The 40-guest Isabela II, with 20 spacious cabins with outside view, private bathrooms, hot water, and air conditioning, offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere for experiencing the full adventure of the Galápagos.

It has three public decks, stocked with a bar-salon, dining room, sun deck, and jacuzzi. It also has one of the most complete reference libraries, with a large selection of books on Ecuador and the Galápagos, nature and conservation videos, and nightly multimedia presentations and lectures.

This is an outstanding vessel for whale and dolphin watching programs. Four-day, five-day, and eight-day cruises depart on Tuesdays and Fridays. Itineraries include islands covering the extremities of the archipelago: North Seymour, Española, Floreana, Santa Cruz, Genovesa, Isabela, Fernandina, Santiago, and Bartolomé. Traveler Reviews of Isabela II

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Rating: 100%

The Isabela II is a beautiful ship with an incredible staff on board. From the cooks, service staff, bartender, to the hotel manager, all are eager to make your stay aboard the Isabela II quite memorable. The naturalists on board add a wealth of knowledge to each island excursion and are happy to talk about the days activities afterward. Rooms are spacious and the beds are quite comfortable!

It is more like a hotel than a luxury vessel.

We spent 4 nights on the Isabela II as we cruised around several islands that make up the Galapagos. The following is what we experienced: A spacious and clean cabin A spotless vessel overall A safety-minded crew Friendly, caring and efficient staff Excellent food A relaxed pace Visits to many interesting islands

The Isabella II and its crew over delivered for pretty much all of the 23 people on a four night five day cruise last week.

The crew and naturalists are wonderful. Food and overally hospitality outstanding.

Highly recommended
