Tourist Superior Class is generally affordable and has comfortable ammenities like A/C and private baths. Boats in this class are not as fancy - you won't have as much space and extra luxuries like gourmet food, cushioned lounge chairs etc - but all your basic needs will be well taken care of.
Boats in this class are the following:
The Ahmara is a catamaran built by Philippe Jeantot, the champion around-the-world sailor. With capacity for eight passengers, this sailboat provides a private and comfortable atmosphere perfect for experiencing the thrill of navigating under sails.
The sixteen-passenger Aida Maria was designed to combine style, comfort, and efficiency. Eight double bunk cabins—each with outside access—are minimalist yet classy and equipped with private bath, hot shower, and air conditioning.
The Amazonia, also known as the Nemo II, is a large catamaran specially designed to take up to fourteen passengers in seven double cabins.
The Amigo I is a sixteen-passenger motor yacht with eight double cabins, each equipped with private bath and hot water. A small external sun-deck provides extra comfort during weeklong excursions beginning Fridays.
The Angelique is a stylish sailing yacht with capacity for sixteen passengers in eight double bunk cabins, each equipped with private facilities, hot water, and air conditioning. Although social spaces are limited and décor a bit outdated, the Angelique adds a few modern touches—television, VCR, small bar, library—to the colonial, pirate-ship ambience.
The Angelito I is a comfortable, sixteen-passenger motor yacht with eight double bunk cabins, each with private bath, hot water, air conditioning, and outside access. Frill-less yet efficient, the Angelito I counts on a professional crew, attentive service, and excellent food.
The sixteen-passenger motor yacht, Darwin, has eight spacious double cabins, each with private bath, hot water, and air conditioning. It also has plenty of comfortable social areas: a plush dining room, serving excellent food, living room area, bar, and sun-deck.
The Encantada is a charming, candy-apple red, ten-passenger sailing boat, which offers style and adventure to their mostly scuba-diving clientele. It has five fully-equipped double bunk cabins, a small conference room with television and VCR, a sundeck, an internal and an exterior dining room, and scuba-diving equipment.
The Floreana is a motor yacht that accommodates sixteen passengers in eight double cabins containing private facilities and hot water. Amenities include comfortable bar and lounge areas, equipped with television and VHS, sun-deck, and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
The Fragata, a sixteen-passenger motor yacht with eight fully-equipped double cabins, is outfitted to provide comfortable cruising, fine dining, and attentive service. Recently rebuilt, the Fragata combines modern style with spaciousness and comfort.
The Free Enterprise is a twenty-passenger sailing yacht with style, comfort, and charm. Ten double cabins, with twin upper and lower berths or double bed, are equipped with private bathroom, hot water, and air-conditioning.
The sixteen-passenger motor yacht Galapagos Adventure II combines comfort, speed, and affordability to produce a unique “Galapagos adventure.” Nine cabins on three decks have private bathrooms and hot water.
The Guantanamera is a poorly-designed, top-heavy motor yacht that can provide weak-stomached (and even relatively sea-savvy) passengers hours of discomfort in rough seas. It has capacity for sixteen passengers, distributed among two below-deck matrimonial suites—with double lower and twin upper berths, two below-deck double cabins, and four upper-deck double cabins.
The motor yacht Liberty can accommodate sixteen passengers in eight double cabins, each with private bathroom, hot water, and air-conditioning. All social areas—including dining room, living room, and small shaded deck—have views of the sea.
The Lobo del Mar III is a sixteen-passenger motor yacht with eight double cabins, located below deck and on the upper deck. Accommodations are clean and spacious, with two lower twin berths, private facilities, hot water, and air conditioning.
The Rachel III, like her sister ship Sea Cloud, is an eight-passenger ketch-rigged motor sailor with an attractive design and elegant interior.
The Samba is a 78’ motor sailor with relatively spacious accommodations and shady and open-air observation decks. It can accommodate fourteen passengers in seven double cabins, six with private bathrooms and air-conditioning and one with exterior shower and air-conditioning.
The Sea Cloud, like her sister ship Rachel III, is an eight-passenger ketch-rigged motor sailor with an attractive design and elegant interior. It has four double cabins, each with double lower and single upper berths, private bathrooms, hot water, air-conditioning, and teak furnishings.
