Southern Exposure Tours, in association with Galakiwi, bring you a wild and unforgettable Galápagos Islands experience.

The Galápagos Islands are known worldwide for their fearless wildlife, but no amount of hype can prepare you for such a close encounter with nature. Here you can amaze at giant 200 kg tortoises lumbering through cactus forests, enjoy the entertaining courtship display of the blue footed boobies and Magnificent frigate birds, or snorkel with penguins, sea lions, and sea turtles, all in startling close up.

------------------

Do not miss out on the opportunity to Scuba dive in Galápagos!

Best known for its big animals, wall and drift diving, these volcanic islands are one of the most desirable Scuba diving destinations in the world. Catering for all levels of divers, the Galápagos Islands are an adventure diver’s paradise where any moment could surprise you. The animals here are seen in such abundance and variety that you wont find in any other place.

Not just reef fish, and schools of pelagic fish, in Galápagos you can encounter sea lions, marine turtles, moray eels, penguins, dolphins, and several species of whales, sharks, and rays; an incredible diversity, including many unique endemic species.

--------------------

We have combined our fast and spacious new launch “CHRISTINE” with clean comfortable accommodation, to offer you this attractive hotel / boat package, allowing you to spend more time on land to live and experience the Galapagos Islands in a more relaxed and comfortable style.

You will spend your days here in paradise, enjoying uncrowded tourist attractions traveling onboard one of the fastest tourist boats operating in the islands with no more than 12 passengers. And after your day trip relax during the evenings in the cozy atmosphere of your hotel, or get out and enjoy the interesting nightlife that the islands have to offer. Bargain with the locals for your souvenir T-shirts or local handicrafts, and dine in the evenings in your choice of restaurant.

Kicker Rock

Rating: 100%

What an amazing experience, seeing all of this aquatic life with the ability to breate under water. Kicker rock looks like something out of a lord of the rings, and with Tim's experience and friendliness the whle adventure becomes that more fun. I really enjoyed passing my PADI certificate there, and strongly suggest to anyone who is going to Isla San Cristobal to check it out. Thankyou Tim you are an excelent teacher and a good friend. cheers leo

Caveat Emptor

Rating: 50%

I'm not sure what was worse: a dive master that always got lost or having prepaid dives canceled! Overcrowded boat (despite stated limit), and overcharged on credit card.

Watch Out!

Rating: 25%

The above reciew comes from the company itself. For a real perspective, take a warning from people who have been on this land-based tour: if you pay ahead of time, you may find that they later substitute to an inferior tour. This company states a limit for boat passengers, but after we paid, they overcrowded the boat by exceeding their stated limit. We were left worrying if the boat had exceeded its rating limit. hey may tell you the number of dives you are buying. After we paid, however, they backtracked and simply skipped the best dives . . . and even then, the divemaster got lost on almost half the dives! Safe practices were also lacking. Nobody recorded our dive insurance information (much less even checked to see that we had dive certification cards), so if there had been a dive emergency, who know how that would have been handled. And if you encounter “scheduling” issues, and they substitute you to a different date, make sure you are paying the same as everyone else on the trip. We were re-scheduled to a different trip on which all the other travelers were paying hundreds less than we were paying!
