Brisas Del Mar - Hotel Puerto Villamil - Ecuador

Brisas del mar is a typical Isabela Hotel, in so much as it’s been built out of concrete in someone’s back yard. That being said, it’s not too bad. An effort has been made to make the rooms as attractive as possible, the management/lady who lives there is friendly and the prices are reasonable for what you get. There are two parts to the hotel: an older part in front and a newer sort of tower in back. The newer rooms are nicer, have a/c and cost an extra $10. The older rooms are smaller and a little grim, and the façade of the hotel could use some work (I thought the hotel was not in service until I went around back). Some of the rooms can sleep up to five people: try to get a discount if you have a group. There is a large patio with hammocks, but you’ll probably prefer to hang out at one of the bars on the beach.
