Hotel Orca is your best bet for a high-end hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, although it doesn't have much competition. The hotel is clean and airy if not particularly memorable. You can pay a little more for second-story rooms with a breezy balcony and ocean view, but if you're on a budget don't bother: you probably won't want to spend much of your Galapagos time in this hotel (or any other). The food is good at the restaurant and there is a small tour service which can take you to all of the local highlights and set you up if you want to do some diving.

The hotel only has 20 rooms and is often booked full by tour operators and cruise ship companies: reservations are a must.
