Excellent food and service: this restaurant caters to the tourists who do not have the stomach for or interest in eating traditional Ecuadorian-style meals (which is usually fish and rice). Instead Miconia offers Italian (pastas and pizza) or American (sandwiches, burgers, salads), and there is one Chinese dish (chicken and vegetables with rice). It also has a variety of seafood platters. The quality of the food and the portion size are perfect so this restaurant definitely gives you your money's worth. In addition they have menus both in Spanish and English. The views from the second floor of the restaurant are amazing: it overlooks the bay area (best at sunset). The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers delivery service. The owner, Katy, is a wonderful, energetic local woman who also teaches aerobic classes in the gym which is located behind the restaurant (adjacent to the newly opened Miconia Cabanas).
