Keep looking
A large group of us stayed at the Hotel Palmeras. It's cheap but....- the rooms are generally in bad repair. Our shower door was falling off the wall. The A/C leaked. The windows and doors didn't seal so there were bugs in the room always. BIG BUGS!- Multiple rooms had problems with fleas and bed bugs. - The A/C didn't work for two of our rooms and the hotel never fixed them.- During a rain storm, multiple rooms had leaks, and one flooded. The hotel didn't seem to care much.- The hotel staff seemed more interested in talking with their boy/girl friends than actually helping fix problems.
