Red Mangrove Adventure Inn

The Red Mangrove Adventure Inn is an intimate, relaxing, and unique ecological paradise. Nine spacious, creatively-decorated rooms and suites offer you the finest of accommodations in a private bungalow nestled among red mangrove trees. Each room is clean, comfortable, and equipped with private hot bath and ceiling fan. There is also a small pool, a meeting area with plush tables and chairs, a common room with television, and plenty of hammocks for lounging. The inn also has its own boutique, which sells artistic goods and organic coffee, and an amazing sushi restaurant/bar. The Red Mangrove Adventure Inn is pricey, but it will guarantee a truly individual and unforgettable experience. The inn also coordinates a variety of tours, including camping, sea kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. As such, it offers excellent, custom-tailored alternatives to pre-arranged tours.

great INN

If you are expecting a 5 star NY hotel forget it. But if you are looking for island tradition this is the place. Food and service and the rooms were wonderful. I would stay there every time that we visit the islands.A+++

Our experience

We paid $175.00 for a room not much bigger than a closet. The two beds were on futons, no chairs, no closet, just a rack for hangers, 2 very small windows, barely any room to walk around. The only thing I liked about this hotel was it was convenient to the Darwin Center.

The Red Mangrove Inn

Some of the rooms are at swamp level and they smell. There is no AC and it is overpriced, $145/night
