Red Mangrove Adventure Inn - Hotel Puerto Ayora - Ecuador

The Red Mangrove Adventure Inn is one of Puerto Ayora's better hotels. Each room is clean, comfortable, and equipped with private hot bath and ceiling fan. There is also a small pool, a meeting area with plush tables and chairs, a common room with television, and plenty of hammocks for lounging. The inn also has its own boutique, which sells artistic goods and organic coffee, and an amazing sushi restaurant/bar.

The Red Mangrove Adventure Inn is pricey, but it backs it up with good service and facilities. The inn also coordinates a variety of tours, including camping, sea kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. As such, it offers excellent, custom-tailored alternatives to pre-arranged tours.

The Red Mangrove has affiliated hotels on Isabela and Floreana and offers island-hopping packages.
