Terranostra is a new, pleasant airy restaurant located on a relatively quiet section of Avenida Charles Darwin. The best part is the wooden deck dominated by a large tree, and occasional ocean breezes waft in from across the street. Good, non-offensive music is played at a non-intrusive volume. Terranostra is owned by an Italian-Ecuadorian couple who also own the La Dolce Italia restaurant down the street.

The pizzas are good if a little bland, and there is a decent selection of basic desserts. Be sure to check out the humorous "menu" of things they will not serve here, such as "Piquero in salsa de naranja" (booby in orance sauce) and "sopa de tortuga en su caparazon" (turtle soup, served in its shell). It's on the front of the real menu.
