The Rock - Restaurant Puerto Ayora - Ecuador
A hip, airy dining area, full menu and cool bar are the attractions at the Rock, supposedly named for the US airmen’s nickname of Baltra in the 1940’s. The food is pretty good, and the service isn’t too bad (by Galapagos standards) It’s a good place to kick off a fun evening with a drink or two. They sell t-shirts with their logo on them for those who really want to remember their trip here. For some reason, locals seem to avoid The Rock. One nice bonus: their menu is online at their website (www.therockgalapagos.com).
