Hotel Juan Sebastian lies at the eastern end of the Malecón and features an unmistakable sign mimicking the Walt Disney logo. The hotel tries to live up to this association with its five abnormally large pools interconnected by narrow channels in the center of the grounds. A number of room options are available, from cabin-like bunks to first-class suites. Rooms are a bit shabby for the price, but the location, pool and friendly staff make up for it. Plentiful parking is also available. The main pool area is a large, wide open space surrounded by palm-thatched huts where you can picnic or imbibe.
