Looking like a miniature skyscraper, Malecón Inn has a commanding view of the Malecón strip and the beach. Walk through the glass door and up the stairs and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern, and safe the hotel feels. Offering simple, but immaculately kept rooms with air conditioning, hot water and TV, this place is certainly one of the best deals in town. Walls and floors look so new you’d think the hotel had just opened, but the owner claims that Malecón is three years old. A bright yellow hallway leads into violet colored rooms with new beds and nightstands. Sheets and mattresses look like something out of a mall display and the bathrooms are sparkling. Prices are the same in both high and low season and there’s a parking garage nearby.
