An open-air restaurant facing the sea, this place offers one of the nicest views you’ll get while in Esmeraldas. Dining is simple and only slightly classier than in town: the plastic tablecloths and glass-top tables are clean and inviting. Specials include the standard range of seafood dishes, but ceviche, langosta and the regional specialty encocado are among the best options. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more hearty, try one of the arroz dishes. Prices are a tad more expensive than in town, but then none of the inland dives can offer palm tree-studded ocean views.
