Mompiche may be a tiny beach town with only two rutted dirt roads, but it still has a decent range of accommodations, from surfing hangouts to bungalows and adobe-walled getaways. When you first arrive, spend a few minutes to walk through the town (a few minutes is all it takes) to find the room that’s the best fit for you. Only one word of warning – although the hotels span a good range of prices, there aren’t a huge number of rooms available. If you plan to visit during holidays, be prepared to pay a higher rate and try booking space in advance.
