An unassuming façade leads into a small kitchen area where Patricio and his wife Angelica prepare stock-standard coastal fare—try the camaron empanada—for anyone hungry and looking for a meal. Although its name may conjure images of fancy candle-lit dinners and men in striped shirts rowing gondolas, the restaurant bears the family name and dining here is an informal affair, more like eating in than dining out. Even if you’re not in the mood for rice and fish it’s a good place to just chill out with a beer and watch the beach comings and goings.
