To get to Same from Atacames, head across the footbridge away from the Malecón and walk straight two blocks, bearing left at the fork. Look for people milling about by the moto-taxi stand. Buses run frequently, but without much of a schedule, and usually cost $.35. Make sure to be dropped off at Same town and not Casablanca, though a walk up toward the exclusive apartments rewards you with stunning views of turquoise water and rolling green hills.
