Sainanda Park

Owned by biologist Alfredo Harmsen, Saiananda is a private park situated along the waterfront, just 5 kilometers from Bahía. In addition to striking views of the sea, the park also features an intriguing menagerie of native and domestic animals and birds. Park residents include itinerant sloths, coatimundi, deer, ostriches, rabbits, macaws, peacocks and geese, all of which freely interact with their human guests. The Japanese bonsai garden, eclectic cactus collection, and variety of other plants are equally worth a day-time gander.
