La Herradura

Aged but atmospheric, La Herradura offers simple rooms set around an attractive Spanish-style building. The front porch and restaurant area face the sea, and there are vaulted ceilings with clean white walls, all of which create a bright and breezy spot to sit, sip a drink and share a meal with friends. The neatly set tables, with burgundy and white tablecloths and wine glasses, add a touch of elegance. Bar Michelangelo is a nice place to pull up a stool and start the night with a drink. The hallways are a bit dark compared to the more spacious front area, but tastefully trimmed with an eclectic collection of art and artifacts. During the week, La Herradura is quiet, almost deserted, but on weekends and in high season, the hotel's rooms are full and restaurant is buzzing.

Traveler Reviews of La Herradura

Herradura Is KING

I loved the attention from the Staff. The owner is also always there, you cannot miss him as he is over 6 feet tall! He speaks some English and is very charismatic. The rooms always have water and the food at the restaurant downstairs is always wonderful.
