A popular Canoa fixture, La Posada de Daniel offers comfortable cabins, perfect for large groups, and equipped with mosquito nets, private bathrooms, fans, and balconies boasting views of town and a bit of sea. Calm, quiet, and cozy, this place also offers an on-site restaurant, and can organize horseback riding excursions and local tours. The owner, once a slick surfer himself, gives lessons to anyone interested. As if the views weren’t enough, this place also has satellite internet, a swimming pool, and vegetarian restaurant. If you’re up for a drink head to the hotel-owned Iguana Bar for “crazy” hour from 20:00-21:00.
