Café Flor

A cozy little joint set back from the beach in a quiet section of town, Café Flor is a friendly, family run restaurant that also happens to serve up some of the best plates in town. Pizzas piping hot from the oven and heaped with toppings are a sure win, but the massive salads and spicy burritos aren’t a bad bet either. Small tables and chilled out music make the setting notably more intimate than places on the main strip. Whether you come for a romantic rendezvous or to split a meal and share some drinks with friends, you’re sure to leave Café Flor feeling satisfied. Owners used to have a restaurant in El Oriente called Chonta Café, but recently relocated to Canoa (probably for the same reasons so many travelers come here). Speak with the owners to arrange Spanish lessons ($5.00/hour).

Traveler Reviews of Café Flor

cafe flor

Super customer service. Very friendly and owners take the time to chat with you. Excellent food. It is nice not to eat in a garage as well like many places in Ecuador.

Delish

I ate here the other night, the food was great. I had a shrimp dish, with veggies, very good. The power went out, and they were still able to dish up a great meal, amazing. Plus it is in this really cute and cozy house. I highly recommend this restaurant.
