This hip new place on the main street fronting the beach offers a stylish lounge and bar area, perfect for grabbing a drink and chatting with friends, as well as a more formal seating area for taking in a meal. The menu is one of the most diverse in town, offering everything from Chinese and Italian to Mexican and American. This is the place for picky eaters and social drinkers. Owners Diana Castillo and Mark Hamill have worked hard to create a comfortable, but stylish social space, which of course is made all the more enjoyable by great food and an extensive cocktail list. A popular hangout on weekends, the Shamrock also has a downstairs disco, built around a small stage area meant for live local bands (Friday and Saturday night). No worries if you need a refresher after cutting a few shapes; a large bar area stretches across one side of the dance floor. If you’re keen to drink without draining your wallet, stop by for two for one beverages at happy hour: 7:30-9:00 p.m. on weekdays, 10-11 p.m. on weekends. Restaurant open daily 12:00-10:00 p.m., Bar open daily 6:00 p.m.-02:00 a.m.
