The Northern Coast and Lowlands Hotels
Most of your options in the Manabi province are budget, especially in the beach towns of Canoa and Manta. Air conditioning is important in this part of the country, but luckily most Manabi hotels provide it. However, this does not mean that they are clean, many reviews of the budget accommodations noted that many rooms were musty. However, comfortable options definitely abound, and for about $20 a night you can stay by the beach in a clean, quiet room.
