Hotel Miami

Located at the far end of Tarqui’s Malecón, Hotel Miami is a popular spot for young Ecuadorians looking for a cheap place close to the beach. An aging, yellow colored reception area leads upstairs to drab, but clean, rooms with private bathrooms and cable TV. The pool area could use a little love and attention, but still seems to be a popular retreat from the sun and surf out front. While not always pleasant on the eyes, Hotel Miami doesn’t hurt the wallet either. The attached restaurant is convenient and has a solid menu of traditional set meals.
