Panorama Inn y Su Cascada Suite

Panorama Inn, one of the more modern places to stay in Tarqui, offers newish rooms overlooking a courtyard pool that has been decked out in an island theme. Ask for the suites across the street, which are even nicer, though a bit steeper in price, and have new comforters, small but tidy bathrooms, and doors that open onto the pool deck. Both sections are a popular draw for Ecuadorian families and young couples. An attached cafetería is dated but clean and airy, serving typical Ecuadorian fare. The restaurant is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and entrees cost between $2-$3.50.
