From the outside, this place seems promising: a small garden area surrounds a quiet courtyard area with colorful hammocks swinging in the breeze. Unless you pay for air conditioning and ask for one of the nicer rooms, however, you might find yourself squeezed into a very modest room with unscreened windows, scuffed floors, and having to share an outside shower. The location is, however, safer than places to the east in Tarqui, and conveniently located to the west Malecón beach. For the price, there are better places further up the hill.
