Owner Jiorjio carried his culinary secrets with him when he came over from Genova and now Ecuador gets the pleasure of sampling his time-tested and lovingly prepared dishes, including real garlic bread. Mains cover just about every gastronomical possibility, from vegetarian lasanga to grilled meats like marinated venison and rabbit.

And the atmosphere is almost as delicious as the meals; delicate gravel walkways lead to a terrace-like seating area decorated with flowering plants and miniature street lamps, giving the feeling that you’ve for a romantic stroll rather than restaurant meal. Wine is served chilled in silver stands and waiters scurry about in black and white uniforms accented by neatly arranged bow ties. As one might expect, desserts here are not to be outdone by the mains. A true culinary gem, Mama Rosa’s has all the necessary ingredients for a truly pleasurable dining experience.
