A rather grand entrance leads into a familiar Manta dining scene, with plastic chairs tucked under unadorned tables and hastily decorated walls. In keeping with the professional façade, however, waiters wear blue collard shirts and bow ties, and take service with a smile seriously. English menus are available, but international dishes are few and far between; the most popular eats consist of fish, chicken and meat served with a decent portion of rice. This is a good spot to eat if you’re looking for something a bit different from the cafeteria-style restaurants further west, but expect good rather than gourmet.
