New, clean and friendly, Hostal Agua Marina is clearly one of the most comfortable options in town. It has a pool and the neat rooms are air conditioned. The rates are reasonable for the facilities and service. There are two drawbacks: first of all, it's not on the beach, but about a four block walk away (this means it's quieter, however, as the beach bars blast music all night). Also, the rooms are a little cramped: the suite that can sleep seven features two bunk-beds: seven adults will find the quarters a little tight. 

If you can afford it and you don't care about being close to the beach, Hostal Agua Marina should be your first choice in Pedernales.
