Getting To and Away from Pedernales

The bus terminal is located on Juan Pereira, just two blocks northeast of the main square. Buses leave every 20 minutes for Santo Domingo, with connections to Quito (5-6 hours). Connections south include Guayaquil ($8, 9 hours) and San Vicente ($3, 2.5 hours). You can also grab a Coactur bus that head to closer towns like Jama (1.5 hours, $1.50) and Canoa (3 hours, $3), departing every other hour from 5am – 6pm.
