Like most of the coastal towns, Pedernales features its own set of generic beachfront restaurants and bars. In terms of gastronomy, La Choza fits right in; however, its well-appointed dining area, complete with a collection of wine bottles spread across the back wall, give it a bit more atmosphere than the other seafood dives in town. Calling itself a restaurant of 4 b’s—bueno, bonito, barato and bastante—this place seeks to serve its customers a bit of everything good with a side of better than the rest. The menu includes 50 different plates, so even the picky palates should be able to find something here. Specialties include mariscos and ceviches, meat, chicken, fish, rice and pasta dishes.
