Canopy Tour - Other Activity Mindo - Ecuador

If you like the idea of flying above and across Mindo’s cloud forest, like a modern-day Tarzan, a canopy tour is definitely for you. Canopy Adventures, a company with over 10 years’ experience in Costa Rica, has installed a circuit of 11 different zip lines spanning the valleys and hills above Mindo. Securely harnessed to the cable, you literally zip along, at a height varying from three to 120 meters (9.8-394 ft), just above the treetops, from one platform to the next. For an extra rush, try doing the headfirst “Superman” or the upside-down “mariposa" while harnessed to a guide. The total length of the circuit is 3,500 meters (11,483 ft) and takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on the crowds. The ride is open to kids from age 5 and up.
