Canopy Tour

If you like the idea of flying silently above Mindo’s cloud forest, like a modern-day Tarzan, a canopy tour is definitely for you. Canopy Adventures, a company with ten years’ experience in Costa Rica, has installed a circuit of 11 different zip lines spanning the valleys and hills above Mindo. Securely harnessed to the cable, you literally zip along, at a height varying from three to 120 meters, just above the treetops, from one platform to the next. The most adventurous can try tricks like the headfirst “Superman” or the upside-down “mariposa”, harnessed to a guide. The total length of the circuit is 3500 meters and takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on the crowds. The ride is open to kids from age 5.

Fantastic!

I had a fantastic time being flung over Mindo's cloud forests! The guides were professional and patient as I gradually gained courage (and confidence) to fly solo. Zipping across the lush landscape was an exhilarating, yet intimate way to soak in the gorgeous scenery. I definitely recommend this canopy tour to anyone seeking adventure and fun!
