Sachatamia is a cozy wooden lodge located on a private ecological reserve on the border of the protected forest of Mindo-Nambillo, just northwest of Quito. The lodge has comfy single, double, and triple rooms with rates that can include meals or not. An indoor heated pool and jacuzzi make for a perfect ending to a day of hiking the many magnificent trails that surround the complex.

like- everything: very friendly staff, very clean, excellent rooms, tasty food, nice walks, great swimming pool,  lots of humming birds (the toucans didn't show up this time!!!) good value for money.dislike- don't get a cabana near the road.
