Even if you decide not to stay at Mindo Gardens, the restaurant gives you a good excuse to check out this beautiful private reserve full of paths, gardens, bird watching opportunities and a good portion of the Río Mindo.
That said, the food at the restaurant is not amazing. A very limited menu offers a couple of pizzas ranging in price from $4.50-6.50 and some traditional Ecuadorian soups and dishes.
Large groups have the advantage of an extended menu and plenty of space to enjoy it.
Upstairs from the restaurant is a casual lounge with games, a pool table and a TV.
Daily from 8 - 10:30 am; 12:30 - 3:30 pm; 7 - 9:30 pm
