Located on the Extraordinary "Ruta del Sol" ("Highway to the Sun"). Two blocks from the highway and only 50 metres from the sea! . On the quieter side of Manglaralto / Montañita, and a 2.5 hour's drive from Guayaquil.

The most comfortable rooms in the Manglaralto/ Montañita area, each with large private bathroom and hot-water shower, independent entrance and multicoloured hammock on Portal.

There is a café and bar located in the hostel also.

I stayed with my family for Carnival. As opposed to other locations on Ecuador's coast there where now crowds in Manglaralto. This Hostel offers great value : moderate price; very nice, clean rooms; a good base to explore "Ruta del Sol" - Montañita, Olon, Puerto Lopez, Ayangue and even Salinas . Jorge and Adela are great hosts.

Outstanding ! Best kept secret in the Manglaralto/Montañita area!. So close to the bohemian,multicultural scene in Montañita and yet so removed from its noisy nights !. This a small hostel, owned by a canadian-trained economist and his wife, so after a day at the beach or visiting the near-by nature preserves at Chongon-Colonche mountains, you can enalways engage in a conversation about the fine points of globalization ! The hostel is clean, confortable and secure. Near-by you find satellite internet and telephone , laundry services and the only hospital in the region.
