Run by a young, energetic group of Israeli friends, Tierra Prometida (Promised Land) is hip, new, fun and always changing. Opened in August 2003, the owners have many plans for future improvements including a future internet room, a future mini market downstairs as well as plans for constantly changing decor and paintings. There is a lounge with board games, Play Station II, cable TV and a DVD player with a selection of movies and books. There is a pool table on the balcony upstairs and a few other outdoor balconies for relaxing. The owners encourage young guests as opposed to families and will sometimes even try to have an even male-female ration in their guestselection.

Guests receive a 10% discount in the downstairs restaurant, which, among many other things like homemade bread, steak, seafood and breakfasts, serves the only iced cappuccinos for miles.

The price range is about $5-20 per person depending on the room and the season Laundry service is $0.75 per pound.

Visité este hotel en dos oportunidades (2003 y 2004) y me pareció un sitio genial. Altamente recomendable para aventureros que aún lejos de casa quieren seguir sintiendo calor de hogar. Definitivamente quiero volver :)
