Palmar
South from Manglaralto and Ayangue, La Ruta del Sol continues to hug the coast as it sails towards Salinas. Both Palmar and its neighbor Monteverde boast pleasant beaches and popular cafés. Stopping at either town is a good way to break up travels further south, especially if you're keen to stick your feet in the sand and catch some rays for a while.
