The snazziest (and most expensive) place in Salinas, the Barcelo Colón is where the who’s who of Ecuador spend the night. If you can afford to throw down a few extra pennies (or dollars), this place is a sure-win in class, comfort, and style, and certainly worthwhile—even if you’re not one for name-dropping.
