A lovely palm-tree shaded modern building located away from the main drag maintains Travel Suites, a set of apart-hotels perfect for longer Salinas stays. Rooms are bright, well-maintained, modern and spacious, with a small kitchen area fronted by a tiled counter and equipped with a mini-fridge and modest cooking facilities. An outdoor courtyard with a few scattered hammocks provides a peaceful alternative to sand and sun. Facilities and prices are good value compared to other places lining the Malecón, and the atmosphere notably more relaxed. This is definitely a wise option for families or groups of 5 to 6 people, or anyone looking to escape the busy beachfront, and cook a meal or two.
