This classy cafetería is the perfect place to sit and spend some time enjoying the beach view and people watching. An extensive menu is on offer, and almost everything coming from the kitchen looks tempting. Come here in the morning and treat yourself to real coffee, whipped up using an authentic cappuccino machine. Lunches and dinners range from traditional meat, chicken and rice dishes, and mariscos, to international delights like tacos and burritos, pizza and hamburgers. Beyond the mains, there is still more on offer, from drinks to desserts (they even have milkshakes!). Just eye the home baked treats sitting devilishly behind the glass counter and your mouth will water. Prices are standard Salinas expensive, but the atmosphere is certainly more laid back at this end of the Malecón and there’s room to breathe. Try the house special: paella mixta ($12.50).
