Orange is the color of choice in this pleasant restaurant overlooking the Malecón. Cheerful colors, woven placemats and the almost constant company of a cool sea breeze make Vrouw María a popular place to grab a bite. The menu is typical coastal fare and differs little from other Salinas restaurants, except that the seafood here is slightly more expensive than places further back from the beach, like Cevichelandia. But for the extra dollar or two you get first class service, and meals served with extras like garlic bread and an assortment of dipping sauces, like aji (chili sauce).
