Las Tunas is a small beach town between Puerto Rico and Ayampe along the Ruta del Sol, about a 10-minute bus ride south of Pueto López. A very quiet town with a fair stretch of beach, Las Tunas is still in the very developmental stages, as far as tourism goes. If you come for a swim, wear water shoes as the beach can be fairly rocky.
