Hostal Solar del Puerto

This is great hostel to use as a take-off point for Jambeli Island. Great service, helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms, hot water, nice sitting areas on each floor and upstairs there is an open patio with a view of the ocean! Breakfast was included and tasty. They have a secure parking lot, so you can leave your car when you go over to the island.

Getting There:
Go all the way through Machala to Puerto Bolivar, just about to the end of that road. It is on the main road, on the right hand side, very close to the Malecon.
