The one perk about this hostel is that the price per person never changes, high season or low season. Apart from that, however, the place is really unimpressive. The rooms are clean but old and uninteresting. There is a common roof area with hammocks and patio furniture with views of Puerto Lopez and the beach in the distance. Unfortunately it is a fair distance (300 meters) up a hill from the beach and main strip of Puerto Lopez.

Other services include a pharmacy, a restaurant in the building across the street, and a pool table and games to borrow in the lounge area.

If you are really on a tight budget Hostal Tuzco is conected to the Tuzco Inn, a small hostel that currently offers very cheap, $5 rooms.

Hostal Tuzco is a great find!

Very friendly and responsive service, and they owners are wonderful people--I ended up staying here for a month and I enjoyed my entire stay!
