V!VA User‘s Description
There are two Hotel Machilillas, one in Puerto Lopez, and one about 10 km north of town. You can make reservations in Puerto Lopez for either hotel. In Puerto Lopez, the entrance is dirty and the rooms are ho-hum. The central garden/sitting area is pleasant enough though. The northern branch is much bigger in a multi-storied building in need of a paint job right off E15.
Internet is $2/hour, which is standard for Puerto López.
