Residencial Paolo certainly is cheap. Rooms with a shared bath are between $2-4 a person. What do the rooms look like? We don’t know, as the rude caretaker asked us to leave after saying that foreigners never stay at the hotel and that she’s done fine without them for the 30 years the hotel has been in business. Great customer service. There is a private garage and their business card claims to have comfortable, ample rooms with and without private bathroom. Its up to you to check that out for yourself.
