Opened in 2001 Sol Inn has a mellow, beach bum atmosphere with a friendly, energetic owner. Relax in the outdoor lounge area, find out information on tours, exchange books in German, French, English or Russian (for a $1 charge per book). The rooms are clean and creatively painted. There is also availability for camping in the yard at $2 a person.
If you are traveling alone, there is an extra charge of about $2 for a private room. Otherwise, you can stay in a dorm room for the same price as those traveling in groups. Laundry service is $0.50/lb.

Great Place
100%My wife and I were doing volunteer work in nearby Puerto Rico, and Sol Inn was our weekend getaway. The people were really nice, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the value was good. There's also a very friendly little brown dog who lives there.
Good stay.
100%Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, with hammock on balcony. I was backpacking and it more than met my needs. Went for two days, stayed a week.
