Sol Inn

Sol Inn has a mellow beach bum atmosphere with a friendly, energetic owner. You can relax in the outdoor lounge area, find out information on tours, exchange books in German, French, English or Russian (for a $1 charge per book). The rooms are clean and creatively painted. It is also possible to camp in the yard for $2 per person. If you are traveling alone, there is an extra charge of about $2 for a private room. Otherwise, you can stay in a dorm room for the same price as those traveling in groups. Laundry service is $0.50/lb.

Traveler Reviews of Sol Inn

insider tip

The Sol Inn is one of the most stylish hostels I've ever slept in. The construction of the hostal makes you feel as if you were in the middle of the Caribbean sea - on the pacific coast!! The rooms are very neat and the beds are comfortable. The owners speak fluent English, German and French. And the Sol Inn is extremly child-friendly.

Sol Inn - The Place to Go

Very friendly people, nice atmosphere and comfortable rooms. I simply recommend it to anyone going to Puerto Lopez!

Great Place

My wife and I were doing volunteer work in nearby Puerto Rico, and Sol Inn was our weekend getaway. The people were really nice, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the value was good. There's also a very friendly little brown dog who lives there.

Good stay.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, with hammock on balcony. I was backpacking and it more than met my needs. Went for two days, stayed a week.
