The restaurant of the Alandaluz Hosteria is on the second floor of the main building at the end of the main path starting at E15, the Ruta del Sol. The atmosphere is fitting with the eco-lodge: rustic and clean. Open-air seating lets you appreciate the natural setting while dining on organic specialties from Alandaluz's own garden and seafood from local fishermen.

A wonderful and relaxing way to end your stay in Ecuador

Alandaluz was a breath of fresh air in a beautiful setting after traveling through Guayaquil, Machala and Quito. The staff was friendly and cordial, the food so fresh and delicious... Where else can you stroll through the grounds and pick fresh bananas off the stock?? The close proximity to the beach was wonderful. We were also able to travel to the Isle de Plata from a nearby town. I would recommend it highly and truly respect the philosophy that originated Alandaluz.

Great original food for many years.

I have been to Alandaluz over a dozen times. Always great service, presentation, and divine flavor. Prices can't be beat, and the trip by car from Quito is beautiful with very diverse landscapes. Avoid the North American summer months (Jun- Aug) due to cloudy , rainy weather.

Absolutely Divine!

The open-air atmosphere under bamboo beams elevating the high ceiling peaks make eating here feel like being in paradise! Nowhere else in Ecuador will you be served a delicious seafood "El Viudo" in a section of cane made from primarily organic and locally-harvested ingredients. And at these prices? Incredible! Staff are excellent at what they do and provide great, friendly service with a smile. For anyone who is eco-minded, this restaurant (and eco-lodge) should top your list for Ecuador.
