What better place to have a museum than in the town that boasts 5,000 years of history and culture. This small museum has archaeological exhibits, some signs in English and a small gift shop with local crafts.
Open: Wednesday - Sunday, 09:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salango Museum
100%Great little museum with a unique atmosphere of calm and tranquility. Display very clearly sets out the fascinating history of the area through the archaeological pieces excavated nearby.

75%I was there for an archaeological field school, so my interest in the town, museum, etc. is somewhat biased, however, it is a great little fishing town, the museum covers the use of the spondylus shell in local culture and early ceramics, weapons, etc. Great little museum if you're in the area!
