Islamar

Stuck on top of a windy cliff above a fish factory - cabins are small and draughty. No restaurant as bar only sells cola and onwer's wife only there at weekends- have to walk down a dangerous path into the village - half an hour walk. European owned - Eropean style landscaping has destroyed a natrual beauty feature.

el mejor lugar para las vacaciones!!

This Hostal was one of the best in our trip! The little Houses are done with lot of love and they're very clean and nice! first in the morning when you'll wake up, you'll see this very, very spectacolous view over the pacific, it's so nice there! nice owner, he will do all for make your stay as mutch as comfortable and never forget about this place, its magic! thanx!

Amaziing view, beaches, and atmosphere

We went there by recommondation of a friend. Perfect place to step back enyoy the nature and the clean, safe and lonely beaches. One of the best beaches along the hole coast. The owner is a very friendly man who can arrange everything. Perfect place to stay some days and relax, swim and birdwatching. From July to September you can spot humpback-whales swimming along the coast.

THE BEST IN THE ECUADORIAN COAST

I WENT WITH SOME FRIENDS AND IT WAS COOL FOR US, WE PARTIED ATE DRUNK AND HAD A LOT OF FUN. ISLAMAR IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND SAFETY FOR US. WHAT I LIKED MORE IS THAT THE OWNERS ARE ALWAYS THERE SO THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF US. IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO RELAX AND ALSO HAVE FUN ISLAMAR IS THE BEST CHOICE. PRICES ARE CONVENIENCE FOR ALL THE SERVICE. FOOD IS EXCELENT! LISSETTE-

spectacular view on watchtower

Appropiate to share with adventurous people on groups or family, you need to go up in car, just on Mirador de Salango, good food, friendly people, ask for Christian or Ana Baumgartner
